"Dear Martha,
One of our members took the picture days ago. This was taken by the rangers to the poachers .We are currently organizing our network of local people including administrative authorities in order that they cooperate with us helping us localizing the elephants in transhumance , and helping us localizing the poachers ... Leer máswhenever there is rumors that there is poachers in some areas . Elephants are more located into the south of the country and poachers are operating from the Sudanese border , and the Central Africa border .We are also establishing our network with the Chadians authorities in order that they send troops to catch the poachers .It is a lot of sensitization work and operational one .We are also organizing ourselves to follow the file of the poachers into the Chadian judiciary system when they are being catch and we will make sure in the future that they will be condemned and sent to jail.
We will make sure that there will be publicity of the condemnation whereas publicity has a dissuasive effect . I am a lawyer and we are also working in the reinforcement of the law in Chad to punish the poachers . ..So many things to do and we need more funding that is why any initiative in that direction from any one any group supporting us would be highly appreciated".
